What is the purpose of life

Since I was a kid, I was really curious about the universe that how do our planet and solar system work? I was thinking about the controller of the universe. I wanted to know a lot about it. In the beginning, I have got a lot of religious-based demonstrations about the creation of nature, afterward, I found an interesting scientific philosophy of materialistic. I was impressed by Karl Marx and his description of social evolution etc.
